All of the minor and major fixes to the site and booking system should now be in place. If anyone experiences any glitches, please report them through the contact page on the site.
Following a planning meeting with the directors and web-development team on 18/05, the next few days will see some major fixes and improvements to the Booking System and some general updates to the site. When this work is completed a full set of 'HOW-TO' instruction videos will be filmed to help all AAE members.
AAE membership now includes £10 million of Public Liability insurance cover for all paid-up, Full and Primary members. This is an extraordinary inclusion and goes a long way towards the AAE ensuring their members provide clients with a compliant and professional service. This decision to incorporate this huge addition followed lengthy research and negotiations with leading, specialist providers.
Given the many inclusions and services membership provides, Public Liability at this high level was something members did not expect to receive. It has therefore been welcomed and members are delighted at this announcement, especially as more and more venues and clients are insisting on sight of a PL policy prior to employing performers.
At the time of writing, this level of cover would normally cost entertainers just under £300 per annum, making the inclusive (annual) membership fee of just £99 more appealing than ever.
Today sees the launch of the AAE and applications are already coming in! Thanks to everyone for supporting the AAE especially the early-birds!
Site content will be increased infinitely as applications are processed and members upload their content.
The Association of Accredited Entertainers is delighted to confirm its newly formed association with Farleys Solicitors.
The Farleys specialist legal team regularly assists those in the film, television, music, publishing and entertainment industries on a wide range of issues specific to the sector. Unsurprisingly, Farleys clients include actors, television personalities, authors, broadcast journalists, musicians, sports people and comedians who they represent on both an advisory basis (before any agreement has been signed) and in litigation (where there is a dispute to be resolved).
